TURNING GROUND recently had a very big week!
First, all of us from the Turning Ground team want to wish he and his new bride, Chesi our congratulations and best wishes on their wedding that happened on March 18th at the U.S. 23 Country Music Highway Museum in Staffordsville, Kentucky. Hundreds of family members and friends came out to enjoy the nuptials and reception to follow. The couple exchanged personal vows, and Chesi dedicated a portion of hers specifically to Nathan's daughter, Hayden.
Following the reception, Nathan and Chesi took off for a week away, headed first to honeymoon in Charleston, SC. Staying at Folly Beach and enjoying good food, the beach and the sites, the next stop was inland.
Though not a typical "honeymoon" activity, it was nonetheless an exciting and anticipated stop on their South Carolina tour. The foothills of South Carolina, to the home of Steve and Melanie Wilson and Bonfire Recording Company and Studio.
Turning Ground recently announced that they had signed on to the Wilson Pickins Promotions agency and further had hired Steve Wilson, with Bonfire Studio to take over mix and master of their forthcoming project, "Old Country Store." This trip would serve as the final listen through of the tracks prior to release.
Upon leaving, all systems were GO, and Nathan and Steve got a lot of jamming squeezed in there as well! Be on the look out for some VERY exciting developments and release date announcements to come!
Turning Ground is so grateful to have all of you on this journey with us!
